Amy Galloway
Associate Professor (Departments of Psychology and Sustainable Development), Appalachian State University.
Joined BRWIA in 2007. Amy is interested in all aspects of the food system. Susan Boylan
Retired clinical Social Worker, and part-time organic farmer.
Kaitlyn Jongkind
Food Systems Coordinator at the Appalachian District Health Department, Kaitlyn works with community gardens and farmers markets to increase access to healthy, local foods in the High Country. She joined the board in 2011 after becoming involved in the Seeds of Change Initiative.

Margie Mansure
Extension Agent/Registered Dietitian with NC Cooperative Extension. Margie’s aim is to help people develop awareness of how important healthy food choices are, and realize that choosing to purchase locally produced food benefits the individual and community in many ways.
