BRWIA’s mission is to empower women and their families with resources, education, and skills related to the production and consumption of sustainably grown food from the community.

While we address the needs of all small farmers, our focus targets women’s contributions and needs. Our work is not limited to the small local farmer; BRWIA also believes a strong community-based food system will help rural community members in the High Country overcome barriers to hunger and food security as well as connect local producers to educational resources, and each other to help develop local food markets.
