April 20- Poultry "Brood & Hatch": Trosly Farm on-site Demonstration & Workshop

Join Trosly Farm & Extension Livestock Agent, Eddy Labus, for this one-of-a-kind educational opportunity.  This workshop is for those who are interested in raising poultry for themselves or for direct sale to customers.  The Nidiffers raise their poultry on fresh pasture and use rotational grazing.  Trosly Farm poultry is then processed directly on the farm for direct sale.

Extension Van* & Carpool will depart from The Agricultural Conference Center | 252 Poplar Grove Rd, Boone | at 12:30

*Rides available for limited number of registered participants on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis

Amos and Kaci Nidiffer own and operate Trosly Farm in Avery County.  They raise poultry, hogs, and sheep.  They also have a Farm Store that is open on Saturdays where you can get their meats, fresh breads, and chocolates!  Check out their website at www.troslyfarm.com.
