Join CoBo Bartenders, Teddy and Sarah, for an interactive workshop and discussion about making cocktails using seasonal ingredients. We will discuss how to make bitters and syrups that highlight locally grown products. Participants will taste three cocktails featuring these local ingredients, and receive a bitters and two syrups to take with them to experiment with at home. Participants must be 21 years old to register. Snacks will be available, the class is limited to 20 participants.

Teddy Bourgeois and Sarah Myers
have been working behind the bar together since meeting in Boston five years ago. They both enjoy the creativity and relationship building they are able to engage in behind the bar.  Teddy is a Graduate Student at Appalachian Studies who has focused his coursework on Appalachian beverage ways. Sarah is the Director of Blue Ridge Women in Agriculture. Sarah and Teddy also spend their time tending bar at CoBo Sushi Bistro and Bar.
