 A Savory Shindig is cancelled
due to Hurricane Helene

BRWIA's Healing Harvest will take place Nov. 10

A Savory Shindig is usually BRWIA's signature fundraising event featuring  a mouthwatering local meal with wine and beer, plus other specially crafted drinks and all the fixins! It is a magical fall festival celebrating our thriving local food system and the bounty of the season.

After thoughtful reflection after Hurricane Helene (Sept 27, 2024), Blue Ridge Women in Agriculture has decided to pivot from the originally scheduled “A Savory Shindig” on November 3 at Appalachian View in Newland, NC.  We look forward to hosting our signature fundraising event again next year.)

Instead, we’ll host a "Healing Harvest" Community Meal on Sunday, November 10, from 5-7 PM, at the American Legion in Blowing Rock, NC.
