LEARN MORE ABOUT us & OUR PROGRAMS.

Blue Ridge Women in Agriculture envisions an equitable local food system that protects the environment, strengthens the local economy, alleviates hunger and poverty, and improves community health. Click here to learn more about our mission and long-term goals.

BRWIA operates two weekly farmers' markets as part of our mission to increase access to local food.
  • The King Street Market is an afternoon market on Tuesdays from 4-7. Click here for more information on vendors and location.
  • The High Country Food Hub is an online marketplace. Place your order between Thursday and Monday each week to have your order ready for pick-up on Wednesday. Learn more about purchasing meat, produce, baked goods, and more on the High Country Food Hub.

We have also partnered with the Fair Food Network to bring Double Up Food Bucks to the High Country, a program which doubles the buying power of federal food assistance programs like SNAP and EBT. You can double up at any of our farmers' markets. Click here to learn how you can double up!

Explore our site to learn more about our other programs, including Community of Gardens, Homegrown Workshops, Seed Libraries, and more. Get to know our board and staff and learn how to volunteer or even become a member today!

We rely on donations to help keep our many programs running - every dollar helps us strengthen the local food system and increase access to healthy food within the community. Donate below to contribute to our cause!
