We focus on the wellbeing of the animal — allowing them to exhibit their natural behaviors, free from confinement. She is located in Watauga county where she produces all of her herbal remedies by hand. All products are organic, or ethically wild crafted. Products include teas, tinctures, salve, steam, broth bags, bear oils, role on scents, epsom salt baths, medicinal vinegar, medicinal honey, face mask powders, skin toners, steams, etc.
Mountain Flowers Hemp is focused on the production of craft, small batch hemp grown in controlled indoor environments using living soil techniques. No pesticides are used through the entire process. Each variety was germinated and selected for flavor in house. Our specialty is cured top shelf Hemp flower and fresh pre-rolls, but we also make salves and skin products from the whole plant. Composting short for Born Again Dirt Composting is a composting company in Boone, NC. All of their composting is done at local gardens with the goal of helping community gardens get good soil! You can sign up for a membership which gets you compost every other week in one of three ways. You can do a compost pickup if you're within the pickup range. You can do a compost drop off if you are out of range. Lastly, you could chose the option of compost bin maintenance if you already compost at home but would like our help getting more material or keeping greens and browns even. Carringer Farm- We have been farming for 12 years at our farm in Macon County, NC. We have participated in 3 farmers markets there for 12 years. We sell to 6 different high end restaurants. We grow all types of produce (see website--too many to list), we have bees so we have honey, and creamed honey. We have about 200 chickens so we have eggs. We also bake sour dough bread, make jams, jellies, homemade granola, baked goods!

Laughing Springs Farm is located on the edge of Boone on 17 acres of land that they are grateful to begin stewarding. Established in early 2022, they are building our farm slowly as they come to better know the land with each season. They are still evolving our farm focus, but for now, they will be growing and sharing fresh diversified vegetables, milled corn products (grits, cornmeal) and medicinal herbal products. Although new to the Boone area, they have been organic farmers for the past 25 years in a variety of places - as owners, managers, breeders, seed producers, educators - they have tried a bit of everything - and the learning never stops. They are looking forward to sharing our harvest with you!

The proprietor is Iona Jones, who specializes in creating gluten-free baked goods, low-sugar canned goods, candied fruits and flowers, and other unique treats. Iona's passion for cooking, baking, and canning began in childhood while helping her mother prepare for the Watauga County Farmer's Market where the family sold veggies, cheeses, and baked treats sourced from their organic homestead garden and dairy goat farm located on the edges of Ashe County. As a private chef and caterer, Iona has continued to follow this passion for healthy and unique kitchen creations and providing special treats for her friends, family, and neighbors.

Mahogany & Merle LLC makes stone candles, specifically oil candles, out of pieces of granite. Made all by hand using scrap granite sourced from local countertop businesses (all with permission, of course!). Get the scraps home and break them up by hand and turn them into candles and make wicks to go with them. These candles are a unique and sustainable statement piece on any table in any room or patio.

Mezzaluna Farmstead makes wood & wool crafts from their farm. Mostly household items like bowls, candle holders and vases turned from wood harvested by them as well as dryer balls, rugs, shawls and tanned sheep skins from their own sheep.
Firelight Candles are created in small batches in their home in Boone, NC. Living in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, they have always been inspired and rejuvenated by the unique scenes and scents of nature. At fireLight, our aim is to capture that goodness by using all-natural soy, premium fragrance oils + essential oils, and pure bee's wax to craft each signature scent in an artistic candle.
