Sunshine Cove Farm was began by Larson Smith, who cultivated his passion for farming while growing microgreens and other plants to feed himself and his loved ones out of his basement and unused office spaces. Larson decided to team up with long-time friend, Jakob Ssostrand to make a go at farming full-time in 2016. Coincidentally, that was the same year the founders of Sunshine Cove Farm were looking to to pass on their farm business. The hand-off was seamless, and with the help of his crew and partner, Michelle Dineen, Sunshine Cove Farm continues to provide The High Country and beyond with the finest and rarest microgreens, shoots, and edible flowers.

Blue Goat Dairy is a very sweet farm nestled in the hills of Vale, North Carolina. The farm is home to a multitude of goats, each of them part of the family. Three breeds of goats live on the farm: Saanen, Alpine, and LaMancha. The owners, Becky and John, make a variety of chèvres, which is spreadable goat cheese, as well as tango and samba, jars of a mixture of ingredients that you can serve as they are or incorporate into main dishes. Everything is made on-site, with the freshest of ingredients.

We are able to provide many different strains of flower, all with varying benefits, percentages of CBD, and aromas! The multitude of flavors and scents are a result of the terpenes present in the flower.

Lively Up Farm grows in Valle Crucis and Matney, NC. Before beginning Lively Up Farm with his wife Natalie, Matt developed the Leola Street Community Garden and also developed the area’s food recovery program. In Watauga County alone tons of non-sellable but still-edible food was discarded annually. But people need to eat! The food recovery program salvages this food and distributes it to the community through organizations like the Hunger & Health coalition. Believing that cooperation and community are the cornerstone to sustainability, Matt brings this attitude into his philosophy of farming.
