Farming on Leased Land: Workshop & Networking Event
Join Blue Ridge Women in Agriculture (BRWIA) and NC State Extension’s Stephen Bishop for an informative workshop and networking session focused on farming on leased land.

At this event, participants will:
  • Hear from Stephen Bishop, Western Region NC FarmLink Director, about best practices, resources, and considerations for leasing farmland.
  • Learn from a local farmer currently leasing land, who will share firsthand experiences and lessons learned.
  • Connect with Local organizations working to conserve farmland.
  • Connect with other participants during a networking session designed to bring together landowners interested in leasing their land and beginning farmers seeking farmland.
This is a great opportunity to build relationships, exchange knowledge, and strengthen the local farming community.
